I’m sure everyone here has methods to calm down and relax. They might be more or less conscious though, and we use them by favor or default. Maybe we like to visit a friend for a coffee or we take our bike or running shoes out.
And I believe some of us are practicing yoga, meditation, tai chi, or autogenic training. I see people sitting on benches, lying on grass, or on a beach just enjoying being there. There are so many different roads to Rome.
Today I invite you to just watch what your default is and observe what the effects of it are.
In a general sense, we can say that lying, sitting, standing, and walking each have their own challenges and benefits for body and mind. Maybe one of those is a posture you use when you relax. Interestingly, each can be used for both energizing and relaxing activities.
