The art of taking a break
White space or free time is so important for an authentic feeling of freedom. Our body breathes in and out, the oceans ebb and flow, the seasons come and go, and day follows night. Active time and down time need to be in some kind of balance for us to be healthy and well.
In nature there are the different phases of sprouting, growing, blooming, ripening, and dormancy.
Many of us are living with too much stress and too little recovery. Modern life often leads us to do too much in relation to what we can do. We want to do all these things, but actually it’s also necessary to relax from that doing.
Today again there is nothing to do here, just enjoy a day without activity. Take some time to relax and recover in your very own way.
